1 USRP2 Delayed

We are hard at work on the USRP2, but things are not progressing as
quickly as we would like. In order to ensure that we can deliver to you
the most functional and reliable product possible, we need to delay our
planned January release. We do not have a new release date to announce
at this time, but we hope for it to be within 2-3 months.

Unfortunately, we cannot take preorders or sell prototypes, and are not
keeping a waiting list. Barring unforeseen circumstances, the cost will
be $1400. When the USRP2 is ready, everyone will be notified via this
same email list, so there is no need to ask us to notify you. If you
would like to get prepared for the USRP2, please see the email which
will follow on the GNU Radio mailing list for more information.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this delay has caused you, and
appreciate your patience.

2 New Daughterboard Status

In addition to the USRP2, we are also working on 3 new transceiver
daughterboards:
   - WBX0510 -- 50 MHz to 1 GHz
   - WBX0822 -- 800 MHz to 2.2 GHz
   - XCVR2450 -- 2.4 GHz and 4.9-5.9 GHz

We are currently working with prototypes of the WBX0510 and XCVR2450,
and will notify everyone when they are ready to ship, hopefully within
2-3 months. The WBX-0822 will follow, hopefully by June. All are
tentatively priced at $400. Unfortunately, we cannot take preorders or
ship prototypes.

3 Standoff Problems

Some of the USRP packages shipped in the last 2 months contained
standoffs which have a male threaded section which is too short to mate
properly with the standoffs built into the bottom of the enclosure. You
can identify these standoffs by their dull gray aluminum color, instead
of the normal shiny color like the screws in the same package.

If you received some of these standoffs and need replacements, please
send an email to sales at ettus.com with "STANDOFFS" in the subject line,
with the following information:

   - Your complete shipping address
   - Your phone number
   - Your email address
   - The number of USRP systems which you received with the incorrect
standoffs.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience.
